My name is Sessy and many of you on here know of my daughter Autumn. She is twelve years old, thirteen in February, and she has Autism. Autism is, a mental condition, present from early childhood, characterized by difficulty in communicating and forming relationships with other people and in using language and abstract concepts. Just a bad day gone worse
Dealing with a house hold consisting of two young children, one adult child, two parents, four cats, and one dog can be somewhat overwhelming, more so when one of those children has autism. On a normal day I sometimes feel like I'm going bat shit crazy, but when faced with extenuating circumstances, things which I mostly have no control over, well, it's enough to put me in the nut house.

My daughter Autumn gets diapers delivered through a medical supply place. We get a shipment of five packs per month and that usually lasts us the entire month. Lately we've noticed that she seems to be going through diapers like crazy and at the end of the month were running short. At first we thought that she was just changing them too often and when its not needed but now we're not too sure. Raven noted last week that we had three packs of diapers left when he went out on the back porch to grab a pack. Took Autumn to see Nureologist
I know that I have mentioned a few times about going to Cleveland with my daughter to see her neurologist, but I don't think I ever went into great details about what this trip entails. So I'm going to explain a bit more about what we do and then give an update about her appointment yesterday.

First thing, she has an appointment every 6 months. Once a year she gets an EEG where they attach electrodes to her head and monitor her brain wave activity to see how active the seizures are.
